We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our team. Our industry is healthcare and the role will be fully remote. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be supporting Care Delivery Organizations and assisting a large patient base.
Responsibilities:
• Fielding inbound calls from patients and addressing their inquiries about eligibility and authorizations
• Accurately documenting all patient interactions and information
• Providing exceptional customer service at all times
• Efficiently handling data entry tasks and order entry operations
• Corresponding with patients via email as needed
• Scheduling appointments for patients
• Managing both inbound and outbound calls to resolve patient issues
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Word for various administrative tasks
• Navigating through health care audits, specifically those related to Medicare and Medicaid
• Familiarity with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) procedures and guidelines
• Ensuring strict adherence to HIPPA regulations and other privacy laws.
• Must have Medicaid call center experience within the last 2 years
• Prior experience in call center customer service
• Strong customer service skills
• Expertise in data entry
• Ability to handle email correspondence effectively
• Proficiency in managing both inbound and outbound calls
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word
• Experience in order entry
• Ability to schedule appointments efficiently
• Experience in health care audits, particularly Medicare and Medicaid
• Knowledge of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) standards and regulations
