We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity in the Consumer Products industry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for an Accounts Payable Clerk. This role involves a variety of accounting and clerical tasks, with a focus on maintaining and processing Accounts Payable transactions.

Responsibilities:
• Efficiently process and verify invoices to ensure the company is billed correctly
• Monitor company expenses and keep accurate records for tax purposes
• Reconcile accounts and resolve any accounting discrepancies
• Charge expenses to the appropriate accounts
• Carry out data entry tasks and maintain accurate records
• Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks
• Perform check runs and code invoices as part of the invoice processing tasks
• Analyze invoices and expense reports as part of the accounts payable function.

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and best practices.
• Experienced in conducting Check Runs to maintain cash flow and payment schedules.
• Ability to perform Coding Invoices, accurately categorizing expenses for financial tracking.
• Excellent Data Entry skills, ensuring accurate and efficient input of financial data.
• Experience in Invoice Processing, ensuring all vendor invoices are paid on time and in compliance with company policies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for creating spreadsheets, running reports, and analyzing data.
• Familiarity with Oracle financial software for managing company accounts and finances.
• Experience with QuickBooks for managing and organizing financial data.
• Knowledge of SAP for managing business operations and customer relations.
