We are offering a temp-to-perm employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in our Non-Profit organization based in Mill Valley, California. In this role, you will be primarily assisting our Finance department with managing our full-cycle accounts payable function, alongside other general ledger responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the entire accounts payable process and assist with integrating new vendors and users into our AP Automation software.
• Conduct and assist with month-end account reconciliations, capital asset additions, and general ledger activities.
• Prepare and post journal entries while also reviewing expenses for accuracy.
• Maintain an accurate record of customer credit applications and process them effectively.
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions as required.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
• Use your skills in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Cl Programming, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning to streamline processes.
• Utilize your knowledge in Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, and Balance Sheet Account to improve efficiency and accuracy.temp
• Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems for managing financial data.
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services for efficient financial processing and management.
• Skilled in Cl Programming to aid in the organization's data processing needs.
• Knowledgeable in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning to streamline business processes.
• Capable of handling all Accounting Functions to maintain the organization's financial health.
• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) for smooth financial operations.
• Skilled in Auditing to ensure accuracy and compliance with established regulations and standards.
• Ability to manage Balance Sheet Accounts, including assets, liabilities, and shareholder's equity.
