We have an exciting opportunity for a contract-based Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Middletown, Connecticut. In this role, you will assist in accounts payable operations, collaborate with the team, and manage a variety of customer service, clerical, and financial processing tasks. This is a perfect opportunity for individuals with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer credit applications efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain precise and organized records of customer credit information.
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly and with attention to detail.
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as necessary.
- Post charges for the day and upload relevant data to support patient billing operations.
- Perform clerical tasks, including scanning, answering phone calls, and receiving/alerting for deliveries.
- Assist with depositing checks and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for tasks, and support the preparation of accounts payable side reports.
- Understand basic numerical data and follow written or verbal instructions to execute tasks.
- Maintain and manage updated spreadsheets and financial documentation.
