    We have an exciting opportunity for a contract-based Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Middletown, Connecticut. In this role, you will assist in accounts payable operations, collaborate with the team, and manage a variety of customer service, clerical, and financial processing tasks. This is a perfect opportunity for individuals with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Process customer credit applications efficiently and accurately.
    • Maintain precise and organized records of customer credit information.
    • Respond to customer inquiries promptly and with attention to detail.
    • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as necessary.
    • Post charges for the day and upload relevant data to support patient billing operations.
    • Perform clerical tasks, including scanning, answering phone calls, and receiving/alerting for deliveries.
    • Assist with depositing checks and maintaining accurate financial records.
    • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for tasks, and support the preparation of accounts payable side reports.
    • Understand basic numerical data and follow written or verbal instructions to execute tasks.
    • Maintain and manage updated spreadsheets and financial documentation.
    • Experience: Proven experience in accounts payable, administrative, or clerical roles.
    • Technical: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, is required.
    • Organization: Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in record-keeping and financial tasks.
    • Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with both internal team members and external customers.
    • Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
    • Numerical Acumen: Comfort working with numerical data and executing related financial tasks.
    • Team Player: A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work well within a team-based environment.
