    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • Proven experience in a cybersecurity engineering or related role.
    • Strong knowledge of security technologies and protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.
    • Experience with cloud security (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and securing cloud-based infrastructures.
    • Familiarity with penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and risk management frameworks.
    • Hands-on experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools and network monitoring.
    • Knowledge of regulatory standards and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2).
    • Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) to automate security tasks.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or similar cybersecurity credentials.
    • Experience with threat hunting and advanced persistent threat (APT) detection techniques.
    • Knowledge of incident response methodologies and tools.
    • Experience with DevSecOps practices and securing CI/CD pipelines.
