    We are seeking a skilled and proactive PLC Programming Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming and developing automation solutions for machinery using PLCs, with a strong background in CoDeSYS or the Beckhoff development environment. The role offers variety, challenges, and independence, requiring problem-solving abilities and adaptability as no two days are ever the same. This is a Direct Hire/Permanent Placement position!


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop, program, and maintain PLC software for automated machinery and control systems.
    • Utilize CoDeSYS or the Beckhoff development environment to design, implement, and troubleshoot PLC programs.
    • Apply object-oriented programming principles in software development to ensure modular, maintainable, and efficient code.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions for machinery and process automation.
    • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing automation programs to ensure system reliability and performance.
    • Analyze system requirements and make recommendations for process improvements or upgrades.
    • Maintain clear documentation of code, programming changes, and system updates.
    • Work independently on projects, managing priorities and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
    • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends related to automation, control systems, and programming.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
    • Proven experience with PLC programming and development in CoDeSYS or the Beckhoff development environment.
    • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and experience coding in similar paradigms.
    • Familiarity with programming languages such as C# and .NET is a plus but not required.
    • Experience designing and implementing software solutions for automated machinery or manufacturing systems.
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and adaptable mindset.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams or independently as needed.
    • Knowledge of industrial automation systems, hardware interfacing, and control system integration preferred.
