    We are in search of a Data Governance Analyst in Malvern, Pennsylvania, 19355, United States. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As a Data Governance Analyst, you will be entrusted with the creation and implementation of data and process governance strategies, execution of data dictionary, and carrying out data quality analytics.

    Responsibilities:

    • Implement Data Governance (DG) and Data Quality (DQ) strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Execute data dictionary and Common Data Environment (CDE) identification procedures.
    • Establish and enforce data quality rules and data lineage.
    • Conduct data quality and analytics to ensure the reliability of practices within the organization.
    • Leverage your skills in Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Management to optimize processes.
    • Apply your knowledge of BCBS 239, 504, and/or 20252a in the financial services industry context.
    • Utilize your experience with compliance data, particularly in the context of BSA/AML with Actimize.
    • Use your coding proficiency in Python, data APIs, and data management/DGDQ tools to enhance data processes.
    • Implement your experience with DG/DQ tools such as Ataccama, Informatica/Collibra, IBS, Actimize, Prime, ACH, Salesforce, Data Warehouse/Snowflake, Wires: Finastra and/or Finzly and proficiency with Microsoft Suite and PowerBI.
    • Possess strong knowledge and experience in Data Governance and Data Quality.
    • Must be proficient in Actimize, a leading financial crime, risk and compliance software.
    • Must have a strong understanding and practical experience with BCBS 239 (Basel Committee on Banking Supervision's standard 239).
    • Proficiency in Python programming is required.
    • Ability to design and implement data governance frameworks.
    • Experience in data governance tools and data quality tools.
    • Familiarity with data related regulations and standards.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
    • Demonstrate ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
    • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
