Robert Half Legal is partnering with a prestigious, boutique law firm in Century City, seeking a litigation associate with 2+ years of experience (and ideally less than 10). This litigation associate will handle business/real estate/probate litigation matters that are complex and diverse!
Responsibilities of Role:
o Discovery – propounding and responding to
o Depositions – taking and defending
o Drafting legal documents - complaints and motions
o Preparing for trial - do trial experience required, but firm does go to trial
Details of Role:
· Hours: 9-6 in the office
· Billables: 1800 target, but not a requirement (year-end discretionary bonuses are in part contingent upon billable hours)
· Profile that would be a fit:
o 2-6 years of civil litigation experience ideally
o Friendly personality, outgoing (not super Type A)
o Someone who wants to make a career of litigation

- 2+ years of civil litigation experience (plaintiff or defense) here in CA – probate, business, or real estate litigation preferred
- ABA-accredited law school, top 100 ideally
