We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Credentials Coordinator based in Los Angeles, California. This role is within the healthcare industry, where you will be instrumental in handling the appointment and reappointment processes as well as ongoing evaluations for the organized medical staff.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure strict adherence to confidentiality in all matters pertaining to the medical staff
• Manage medical staff dues and fees
• Maintain and update the medical staff database, official rosters, and call schedules
• Facilitate medical staff appointments, reappointments, and privileging
• Conduct ongoing detail oriented practice evaluations and focused detail oriented practice evaluations/proctoring
• Guarantee compliance with medical staff bylaws, rules, regulations, state and federal requirements, and accreditation standards
• Interface with various departments and physicians to provide and interpret relevant data
• Handle meeting management, including agenda preparation, minutes, and meeting follow-up for assigned medical staff departments and committee functions
• Update and maintain medical staff documents, policies, and procedures to comply with regulatory requirements
• Provide services in Spanish language interpretation as needed.
• Proficiency in Procedures and Policy management
• Commitment to Quality Review and Database management
• Knowledge of Medical Coverage and Regulation
• Fluency in Spanish Language
• Adherence to Confidentiality principles
• Ability to Ensure Compliance in a Medical Office environment
• Experience in Language Interpretation
• Familiarity with Credentialing processes and working with Medical Staff
• Understanding of Vaccines and Interfaces
• Knowledge of Regulatory Requirements in a healthcare setting
• Experience as a HealthCare Provider is preferred
• Familiarity with Vaccinations and Meeting Planning
• Knowledge of Allied Health, Agenda Preparation, and Accreditation Requirements
• Experience in Privileging and providing Medical Staff Services.
