    We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated Remote Attorney to provide comprehensive legal support and representation in the areas of secured transactions, creditors’ rights, and bankruptcy law. The ideal candidate must be licensed to practice law in California and have a strong track record of representing clients (creditors and debtors) in Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases. This role offers remote flexibility, allowing you to achieve a better work-life balance while contributing to a high-functioning legal team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day client legal affairs, including preparing and submitting motions, conducting research, providing sound legal advice to clients, and aligning your work with the firm's broader legal objectives.


    Key Responsibilities

    1. Case Management:
    • Handle a variety of secured transactions, creditors' rights, and Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases from inception to resolution.
    • Draft, file, and argue high-quality motions and pleadings related to bankruptcy law, collections, and creditor defenses.
    1. Client Representation:
    • Represent creditors and debtors in proceedings related to Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.
    • Provide effective legal counsel by explaining legal options and strategies in a clear, concise manner.
    1. Legal Research & Writing:
    • Conduct in-depth legal research on secured transactions, creditors' rights, and bankruptcy to support case strategies.
    • Prepare legal memorandums, briefs, and other necessary documentation for ongoing cases.
    1. Compliance & Risk Mitigation:
    • Ensure all legal strategies comply with California and federal laws, staying updated on evolving regulations within bankruptcy law and financial transactions.
    • Assist clients in risk management and mitigation efforts to avoid future liabilities.
    1. Collaboration:
    • Work collaboratively in a remote environment, maintaining consistent communication with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
    • Leverage technology and case management tools to ensure seamless case tracking and reporting.

    • Experience in Bankruptcy Law and Creditors' Rights.
    • Experience in representing Debtors and Creditors in Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases.
