<p>We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager / Maintenance Engineer to oversee maintenance operations in a plastics manufacturing environment. This key role ensures the reliability, safety, and performance of extrusion and bag making equipment, driving preventive maintenance, continuous improvement, and team development.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p><strong>Maintenance & Equipment Reliability</strong></p><ul><li>Lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities for plastic extrusion and bag making equipment.</li><li>Troubleshoot and maintain critical components such as air rings, dies and die heaters, nip rollers, winders, bag machines, and sealers.</li><li>Diagnose and resolve issues with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and related systems to minimize downtime.</li><li>Perform and supervise mechanical repairs (bearings, belts, chains, motors, gearboxes, shafts).</li><li>Support machine changeovers, setups, and process adjustments.</li></ul><p><strong>Leadership & Operations</strong></p><ul><li>Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance technicians.</li><li>Prioritize and assign maintenance tasks to meet production and safety targets.</li><li>Communicate equipment status, maintenance needs, and process improvement opportunities to production leadership.</li><li>Enforce compliance with all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and plant safety standards.</li></ul><p><strong>Preventive Maintenance & Continuous Improvement</strong></p><ul><li>Develop, implement, and manage preventive maintenance programs.</li><li>Analyze equipment failures and lead root cause corrective actions.</li><li>Support reliability initiatives, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.</li></ul><p><strong>Documentation & Compliance</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure accurate recording of maintenance activities and equipment history.</li><li>Maintain mechanical drawings, schematics, and maintenance records.</li><li>Help support audits and ensure regulatory and company compliance.</li></ul>
