    We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Oracle Database Administrator in Johnson City, Texas. This role involves maintaining database performance, implementing backup and recovery procedures, and ensuring database security within the IT industry.

    Responsibilities:
    • Monitor and optimize database performance and resources to ensure efficient service delivery
    • Carry out database refreshes to support developmental, quality assurance, and training environments
    • Design and implement systems for optimal service, availability, and security
    • Manage user accounts to maintain database security and appropriate access roles
    • Keep track of database licenses and implement upgrades and patches when necessary
    • Conduct routine database maintenance based on assessments
    • Act as the primary database resource for various projects and implementations
    • Assist in the installation and maintenance of database client software as required
    • Effectively triage database issues to determine if vendor support is needed
    • Provide after-hours support when necessary
    • Stay updated with advances in database, storage, and virtualization technology
    • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator

    • Proficient in Linux Technologies

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure

    • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server

    • Knowledge of MySQL

    • Proven experience in Optimization

    • Familiarity with AB Testing

    • Experience with Backup Technologies

    • Proficient in Cluster Analysis

    • Knowledge of Configuration Management

    • Proven experience in Database Administration

    • Oracle certified preferred

Network Security Administrator <p>We are in need of a Tier III Sr. Systems Analyst in the San Antonio area. Reporting to the Infrastructure Design Manager, this key role is responsible for aligning with the business integration and technical execution of initiatives and projects. The Tier III Systems Senior Analyst is accountable for working with business units, project teams and internal/external stakeholders to determine the best manner to implement technical requirements and solutions while focusing on craftsmanship and high availability. Provides knowledge and expertise in a broad spectrum of technologies including servers, storage, backup systems, networking, and security at a Tier 3 level. Serves as an escalation point for technical issues related to new initiatives and to the operational infrastructure already in place as required. The Tier III Systems Senior Analyst provides subject matter expertise or escalation opportunities to the Infrastructure Design Tier III Team, as well as work effort leadership and craftsmanship review.</p><p><br></p><p>This work level is about being accountable for analyzing each situation before determining the appropriate response. Each situation requires analysis of cause and effect to determine the best response. This is about diagnosing why a condition exists in order to fully remediate the root issue. The nature of the work is a bout accumulating data from which to draw conclusions using a multi-factor model. Some judgment regarding optimum multi-variable outcome is necessary. It is about effective work coordination, collective improvement and efficiency to improve current processes. Administration of systems comprises all functions of the infrastructure required to ensure continuous operation and availability of systems; while also coordinating outsourced projects and resources, disaster recovery and business continuity activities. The organizational functional aspects of the Tier III Systems Senior Analyst span of control is working closely as part of a team comprised of infrastructure staff to improve established processes, meeting or exceeding agreed upon service levels, and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction. The Tier III Systems Senior Analyst will deliver Tier 3 support to meet the networking, server, database, and applications needs of the Enterprise while ensuring a commensurate level of work from his team members.</p>
