    Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Printer Technician to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of printers and multifunction devices, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime for end-users.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Install, configure, and test printers, copiers, and multifunction devices.
    • Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues related to printers.
    • Perform routine maintenance, including replacing toner, ink, and other consumables.
    • Troubleshoot network printing issues and ensure proper connectivity.
    • Provide technical support and training to end-users on printer operations.
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and service requests.
    • Collaborate with the IT team to integrate printers with existing network systems.
    • Order and manage printer parts and supplies inventory.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and manufacturer guidelines.


    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a Printer Technician or similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of various printer models (laser, inkjet, thermal, etc.).
    • Familiarity with network printing protocols and configurations.
    • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.
    • Certifications from printer manufacturers (HP, Canon, Xerox, etc.) are a plus.
