We are seeking a Construction Insurance Coordinator in Little Rock, Arkansas, 72202, United States. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity in the construction industry. As an Insurance Coordinator, you will be tasked with managing Certificates of Insurance, monitoring compliance, dealing with project paperwork, maintaining records and reporting, and mitigating risk.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the collection, review, and maintenance of up-to-date Certificates of Insurance (COIs) from various stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and vendors
• Validate insurance coverage requirements and ensure compliance with both project and company guidelines, updating all relevant parties as necessary
• Monitor policy expiration dates and ensure renewals are processed in a timely manner
• Coordinate with insurance agents, brokers, and vendors to resolve discrepancies and request updated COIs
• Assist in the preparation and submission of insurance-related documents for various processes such as bids, contracts, and pre-qualification
• Ensure compliance with contract insurance provisions by coordinating with project managers and legal teams
• Support the project close-out process by verifying the final COI compliance
• Maintain both electronic and physical records of all COIs and insurance documents
• Generate regular reports on COI compliance status for management review
• Identify and address potential risks related to insurance coverage gaps and stay informed of industry best practices and changes in insurance regulations
• Provide guidance and support to team members on insurance documentation requirements.
• Proficiency in CRM systems to manage and interpret customer interactions
• Experience in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and team members
• Familiarity with construction documents, enabling understanding of insurance requirements in the construction sector
• Knowledge of construction industry, to better cater to the specific insurance needs of clients in this sector
• Understanding of commercial insurance, including policies, claims, and regulations in the construction field
