We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer in LEXINGTON, Kentucky. As an Attorney/Lawyer, you will play a pivotal role in our team, focusing on a divestiture project. Your duties will include attending project-related meetings, reviewing and modifying contract provisions, and drafting correspondence and documents related to the transaction.

Responsibilities
• Attend and contribute to internal meetings pertaining to the project
• Review and amend current contract provisions as necessary
• Draft detailed correspondence regarding the transaction
• Draft amendments and related documents for the transaction
• Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts and agreements
• Use your skills in Commercial Contracts, Divestitures, Contract Negotiation, and Draft Agreements to enhance the transaction process.

• Must possess a detail-oriented law degree (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing.
• Proven experience as an Attorney or Lawyer, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Commercial Contracts.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in handling Divestitures.
• Strong background in Contract Negotiation.
• Experience in Drafting Agreements is a must.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to make sound judgments and decision-making.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High degree of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
