    We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Project Coordinator in Lenexa, Kansas. This role operates within the manufacturing industry, where you will be expected to balance responsibilities between development planning, scheduling, and document control.

    Responsibilities:

    • Generate and distribute task and status reports to stakeholders.
    • Coordinate with Engineering and Program Management teams to ensure project milestones are met.
    • Facilitate communication between different departments for project alignment.
    • Monitor project progress to identify potential issues or delays.
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive department schedule using Microsoft Project.
    • Improve project planning processes and tools continuously.
    • Handle digital submission of documents through various customer/supplier web interfaces.
    • Maintain and distribute documents necessary to define product configuration and control manufacturing processes using Solidworks PDM.
    • Organize and implement change requests to controlled documents, including engineering drawings, specifications, and technical manuals.
    • Manage documentation to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Track and manage configuration changes to ensure compliance with configuration management plans.
    • Conduct configuration audits to verify the correct identification, documentation, and maintenance of configuration items.
    • Continually seek methods to improve document control processes.
    • Coordinate with engineering teams for the management of document revisions and updates.
    • Oversee configuration management processes to ensure product integrity and consistency.
    • Ensure engineering documents are accurately maintained and accessible to relevant personnel.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook
    • Experience with budget processes and contract management
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Project is a significant advantage
    • Knowledge of SolidWorks software is desirable
    • Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing management and practices
    • Ability to efficiently coordinate and manage diverse projects
    • Adept at multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
