The role focuses on optimizing Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) deployments in a large-scale gaming environment. As a Systems Engineer, you will be collaborating with various IT and support teams, managing SCCM deployments, and troubleshooting related issues to ensure a smooth end-user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Administering SCCM for software deployment, updates, and system imaging to maintain efficient operations
- Collaborating with IT and support teams to ensure configuration management aligns with security policies
- Monitoring the SCCM infrastructure, tracking software usage, and optimizing deployments to improve system performance and efficiency
- Troubleshooting and resolving SCCM-related issues, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurring problems
- Documenting configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides to support knowledge sharing within the team
- Utilizing DELL EMC Technologies, Dell Technologies, Active Directory, Automation, and Backup Technologies to enhance system engineering tasks
- Leveraging knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Software Packages, and Diagnosis for system administration and management.
- Proficiency in DELL EMC Technologies and Dell Technologies is required.
- Experience scripting with PowerShell and advanced formulas in Excel is required.
- Solid understanding of Active Directory is necessary.
- Experience with Automation tools and techniques is crucial.
- Familiarity with Backup Technologies is needed.
- Must have experience in SCCM and System Center Configuration Manager.
- Expertise in System Engineering is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2016, and Windows Server 2019 is required.
- Experience with various Software Packages is necessary.
