The ideal candidate is someone who has experience for managing a company's payroll system, ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and on time.     Responsibilities:

    1. Processing payroll for employees in the company, including checks and transfers.
    2. Updating employee payroll records as necessary, including changes in salary, benefits, tax withholdings and more.
    3. Working closely with the Human Resources department to ensure accurate employee data.
    4. Resolving payroll discrepancies through information collection and analysis.
    5. Preparing and maintaining accurate reports and records of payroll transactions.
    6. Ensuring compliance with state and federal tax laws and standards.
    7. Addressing employee queries relating to payroll issues.
    8. Implementing payroll best practices.

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
    2. Previous experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role.
    3. Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations.
    4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with exceptional skills in Excel.
    5. Excellent problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail.
    6. Great organizational and decision-making skills.
    7. Experience with payroll software is a plus.
