    We are in the process of recruiting a Finance Manager to join our team based in Kentwood, Michigan. As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of our operations. Your responsibilities will include financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You will also be tasked with ensuring compliance with our company's policies and financial regulations. In addition, you will be expected to mentor and manage members of the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

    Responsibilities:
    • Oversee the preparation of detailed financial analyses, including monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and key performance metrics.
    • Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with corporate goals.
    • Provide insights into financial performance to support strategic decision-making.
    • Act as the functional lead for QAD ERP financial modules, ensuring data accuracy and process optimization.
    • Utilize OneStream to oversee financial consolidations, reporting, and data integration between systems.
    • Mentor and manage members of the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
    • Act as a key liaison between operations, accounting, and senior leadership to bridge financial and operational goals effectively.
    • Maintain compliance with internal financial policies, external auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Ensure adherence to SOX controls and other corporate governance frameworks.
    • Evaluate and enhance financial processes, including automation opportunities, to improve efficiency and accuracy.
    • Partner with IT and other departments to optimize ERP and consolidation system workflows.
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a finance managerial role
    • Proficient in all accounting functions
    • Demonstrated experience in preparing an annual budget
    • Proven track record in auditing
    • Familiarity with budget processes
    • Proficiency in QAD and OneStream
    • Solid experience in financial reporting
    • Skilled in Ad Hoc reporting
    • Expertise in Microsoft Excel
    • Ability to create and deliver financial presentations
    • Experience in corporate financial planning
    • Strong financial analysis skills
    • Experience in both budgeting and forecasting
    • Proficiency in forecasting and modeling
    • Experience in preparing monthly financial statements
    • Knowledge and experience in variance analysis
