We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in low voltage cabling, break/fix services, and remote imaging. The Field Technician will be responsible for on-site installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various hardware and network components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage cabling, including CAT5, CAT6, and fiber optics.
- Perform break/fix services for hardware components, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Execute remote imaging and deployment of operating systems and applications to client devices.
- Provide on-site technical support and resolve issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Conduct site surveys and assess requirements for cabling and hardware installations.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless integration and functionality of systems.
- Educate end-users on proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures during all field operations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
- Proven experience as a Field Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of low voltage cabling installation and standards.
- Proficiency in break/fix services for a variety of hardware components.
- Experience with remote imaging tools and techniques.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
