Kimberly Casey with Robert Half is seeking a Protected Services & Licensing Manager to join a non-profit organization in Salem. Oregon. This role is crucial due to its close interaction with the legal team and its emphasis on risk mitigation for an organization that is highly government regulated. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investigations, compliance and quality assurance (public services industry related). This position will manage a large team of 6 direct reports and 30+ indirect reports. Responsibilities:
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Supervise and conduct investigations, maintaining a clear and accurate record of findings.
• Work closely with the legal team to understand and follow legal processes for investigations.
• Develop and implement policies and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead a large team, fostering a positive work environment and facilitating detail-oriented development.
• Collaborate with the threat assessment team to evaluate risks and determine appropriate actions.
• Respond quickly and effectively to crises, leveraging critical thinking skills to make swift and decisive decisions.
• Use emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills to manage sensitive situations and interactions.
• Oversee quality assurance efforts to ensure high standards are consistently met.
• Manage claims similar to those handled by Child Protective Services but focused on senior citizens.
