We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the Detail Oriented Services industry, located in KANSAS CITY, Missouri. The workplace will be a fast-paced environment where the focus will be on managing accounting functions and auditing tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy in all entries.
• Regularly perform payment runs every week.
• Manage the Accounts Payable (AP) inbox, addressing all incoming queries and issues.
• Audit expense reports using Concur, approving them as necessary.
• Maintain meticulous records of customer credit and AP invoices.
• Leverage Concur Expense for auditing and tracking expenses manually.
• Adopt and implement efficiencies for better organization in a high-volume position.
• Ensure strong communication within the team and with external stakeholders.

• Proficiency in using Concur for managing expenses and invoices
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions and principles
• Demonstrated experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Ability to conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Advanced skills in using Concur Expense for streamlining expense reporting processes
• Strong analytical skills for identifying errors and discrepancies in financial records
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial documentation
• Solid organizational skills for managing large volumes of invoices and payments
• Strong communication skills for liaising with vendors and resolving payment issues
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet financial deadlines
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite for managing financial data
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferable.
