We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to enhance our team. The role is based in a major city in Missouri and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications, maintaining detailed customer credit records, and resolving customer inquiries. Furthermore, the role involves monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions when required.

Responsibilities
• Process customer credit applications accurately
• Maintain detailed records of customer credit
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary
• Perform account coding tasks as per the company's protocols
• Use accounting software systems to streamline accounts payable operations
• Perform auditing tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions
• Conduct regular check runs to maintain financial fluidity
• Utilize Oracle in daily tasks to optimize work efficiency.

• Proficiency in Account Coding is required for the Accounts Payable Clerk role.
• Must have a solid understanding of Accounting Functions and their applications.
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is vital for this position.
• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is an essential requirement.
• Prior experience in Auditing is necessary for this role.
• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is indispensable.
• Must be capable of managing Check Runs efficiently.
• Proficiency in using Oracle, or similar financial software, is a must for this job role.
