    Our client is seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to lead its IT network team. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure to enhance connectivity, performance, and security. As a team lead, you will provide technical expertise, mentorship, and project leadership while ensuring network reliability and efficiency.


    Key Responsibilities


    • Network Infrastructure – Design, deploy, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks, including Cisco routers, switches (Catalyst, Nexus, ISR), and SD-WAN solutions.
    • Wireless Networks – Implement and maintain Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) and Access Points (APs), including site surveys and troubleshooting.
    • Cloud Technologies – Configure and manage Azure infrastructure to support cloud-based networking solutions.
    • Security – Deploy and manage firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA), VPNs, and conduct vulnerability assessments to enhance network security.
    • Protocol Management – Optimize and troubleshoot routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VLANs, HSRP, and spanning tree.
    • Automation & Monitoring – Utilize Python, Ansible, and tools like SolarWinds, PRTG for network automation and performance monitoring.
    • Project & Incident Management – Lead network infrastructure projects, upgrades, and migrations. Manage support tickets using Jira.
    • Leadership & Collaboration – Mentor network engineers, assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure deadlines are met. Align network systems with business objectives.


    Qualifications

    • Industry Experience5+ years in distribution/manufacturing environments.
    • Education – Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
    • Experience10+ years in network engineering within enterprise environments.
    • CertificationsCCIE or CCNP preferred.
    • Technical Skills – Strong expertise in Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, F5, IP protocols, load balancing, firewalls, SD-WAN, wireless, and cloud services.
    • Tools & Soft Skills – Experience with Python/Ansible scripting, network monitoring tools, and excellent problem-solving, communication, and multitasking abilities.
