We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Irvine, California. This role is vital in the accounting industry and involves supporting the royalty accounting team, handling a high volume of transactions, and working within large data files. The Staff Accountant will be expected to work on-site for three days per week, with the option to work remotely on Thursdays and Fridays.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of high volume transactions.
• Utilize vlookups and pivot tables to manage large data files.
• Assist the royalty accounting team in their day-to-day operations.
• Employ software tools such as SAP and Concur for various accounting tasks.
• Experience with month-end closing procedures will be utilized.
• Conduct bank reconciliations as needed.
• Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) for various tasks.
• Leverage knowledge of General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to perform duties.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule with three days on-site and the remaining days remote.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required
• Must be able to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with General Ledger management
• Ability to record Journal Entries accurately and timely
• Experience with Month End Close processes
• Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting purposes
• Experience with Oracle financial software is necessary
• Familiarity with QuickBooks for accounting tasks is required
• Must have experience working with SAP financial software
