We are looking for a meticulous and methodical Sales and Use Tax Accountant to join our team, based in south Orange County, California. The role involves the preparation and filing of tax reports, handling notifications and late filings, and the maintenance of accurate records. This is a hybrid role, requiring your presence in the office for three days each week, and offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Conducting the preparation and filing of Sales and Use Tax reports

• Handling notifications and late filings in a timely manner

• Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy

• Utilizing Concur to manage Accounts Payable (AP) and other accounting functions

• Accrual Accounting to maintain the balance sheet account

• Ensuring corporate tax compliance and managing monthly sales tax

• Preparing and filing Sales Tax Return

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Ability to utilize BlackLine
• Familiarity with CCH Sales Tax
• Proficiency in using Concur
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting
• Ability to conduct Auditing
• Experience in managing Balance Sheet Account
• Knowledge of Corporate Tax Compliance
• Experience in handling Monthly Sales Tax
• Understanding of Sales Tax
• Experience in preparing Sales Tax Returns
