We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team located in Irvine, California. As a Bookkeeper, your responsibilities will include managing customer transactions, ensuring accurate billing, overseeing account reconciliation, and maintaining a proactive work ethic. This opportunity offers a contract to permanent employment scenario.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently processing customer credit applications
• Properly maintaining customer credit records
• Resolving customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner
• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary
• Ensuring accurate and timely billing
• Overseeing account reconciliation for multiple accounts
• Appropriately coding transactions
• Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Performing data entry tasks as required
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various tasks
• Conducting bank reconciliations
• Overseeing month-end close activities
• Managing payroll tasks
• Using QuickBooks for various bookkeeping tasks
• Handling various types of transactions, including account, cash, and banking transactions.
MUST BE QUICKBOOKS CERTIFIED
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Bookkeeper
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all accounts are accurate and up-to-date
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), managing both incoming and outgoing transactions
• Skilled in performing Bank Reconciliations, ensuring the company's records align with bank statements
• Demonstrated expertise in Bookkeeping, maintaining accurate and complete financial records
• Ability to perform accurate Data Entry, ensuring all financial data is correctly recorded and organized
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting
• Experience with Month End Close, ensuring all financial activities for the month are accurately recorded and finalized
• Familiarity with Payroll procedures, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Experience with Account Transactions, handling all transactions related to the company's accounts
• Ability to manage Cash Transactions, ensuring all cash inflows and outflows are accurately recorded
• Experience with Banking Transactions, dealing with all transactions related to the company's bank accounts
• Knowledge of Coding, ensuring all financial transactions are correctly classified and recorded
• Experience in Billing, generating invoices and managing payments from clients
