We are offering an exciting opportunity for an External Reporting Manager within the financial industry, based in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial reporting in compliance with SEC regulations and US GAAP.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage external reporting processes to ensure compliance with SEC regulations
• Responsible for the preparation and review of Form 10-K and Form 10-Q filings
• Apply knowledge of US GAAP to financial reporting processes
• Utilize auditing skills to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reports
• Utilize Workiva and Microsoft Excel to facilitate financial reporting tasks
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial reports
• Monitor and update financial reports in accordance with changing regulations and standards
• Continually improve financial reporting processes and procedures
• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met in a timely manner.
• Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Possess strong auditing skills, with a focus on accuracy and detail.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
• Must have extensive knowledge and experience in financial reporting.
• Familiarity with SEC reporting is mandatory.
• Proficiency in US GAAP is a must.
• Should have prior experience with Form 10-K and Form 10-Q.
• Experience in using Workiva for reporting is necessary.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, demonstrating advanced skills.
