    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Supervisor to oversee and manage our client's technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong hardware and networking expertise, focusing on ensuring devices and systems are properly connected and communicating effectively. This position is critical to maintaining the functionality and security of the IT environment, including firewalls, hardware systems, and vendor-supported devices. With minimal onboarding or training, candidates must demonstrate the ability to learn and adapt quickly to manage the existing infrastructure.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and manage the IT infrastructure, focusing primarily on the hardware and networking aspects.
    • Ensure all devices, systems, and connected equipment are functioning and communicating effectively, including vendor-supported hardware, firewalls, and network systems.
    • Conduct periodic hardware checks, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and implementing necessary adjustments to maintain seamless operations (hands-off repairs but strong oversight of vendor-supported solutions).
    • Act as the primary liaison with vendors to resolve issues and maintain system functionality.
    • Provide guidance and support on the integration and connection of devices, focusing on networking and overall system alignment.
    • Be "on the ground" 75% of the time onsite to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, with 25% of time spent offsite, traveling as needed (use of personal vehicle with reimbursed mileage).
    • Monitor, report to, and collaborate to ensure alignment with company goals and IT standards. Provide consistent communication on progress and challenges.
    • Quickly acclimate to existing hardware and system setups without formal training.

    IT Supervisor Qualifications:

    • Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to solving system and connectivity issues.
    • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • A valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (for off-site visits).

    This position may be direct hire, or contract-to-permanent (C2P). For C2P, you begin on Robert Half payroll you are paid weekly and have the option for health care benefits through HMSA or Kaiser, with an option of converting onto the organizations payroll after a trial period.
