    Data Engineer We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer in the manufacturing industry, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States. The successful candidate will interact with various team members across the company, handling a variety of tasks related to database administration, data engineering, and data science.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Ensuring the functionality, backup, and maintenance of Azure, on-premises Microsoft, and Postgres databases.<br>• Collaborating with the Network Administrator to ensure connectivity and security.<br>• Assisting in data migrations and ETL for system upgrades or implementations.<br>• Administering software, BI, and reporting tools like SSRS, Phocas, Grow, and Power Query/BI.<br>• Creating quality data schemas, maintaining 3rd normal form, and managing primary key, foreign key, constraints, and indexes.<br>• Writing complex T-SQL queries to efficiently generate data for reports, BI Tools, and applications.<br>• Writing scripts and backend code (e.g., PowerShell, PHP, C#, Node/Next.js) to convert queries into scheduled jobs and API endpoints.<br>• Populating AI/ML models and services with relevant data to generate valuable datasets for applications and BI tools, considering data security and potential risks.<br>• Creating and training AI models using the Python data science stack and Azure resources. Models that can re-train on new data to produce valuable datasets for our applications and BI tools.<br>• Building and implementing services and endpoints to make the data available for our applications and BI tools.
