We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant with Nonprofit experience to join our mission-driven organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial activities, maintaining the general ledger, and ensuring compliance with nonprofit accounting standards. Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage the general ledger for accuracy and compliance.
• Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts, including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and accruals.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements, ensuring they align with GAAP and nonprofit industry standards.
• Prepare and record journal entries for month-end and year-end closings.
• Manage restricted and unrestricted funds according to donor requirements.
• Assist in audit preparation and liaise with auditors as needed.
• Support grant reporting and compliance procedures.
• Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor budgets.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
