Paralegal
Our client, a leading Special District/Metro District/Government law firm is seeking a 3 plus years transactional/metro district paralegal to support their busy partners with real estate and corporate transactional practice. Assist attorneys and other paralegals by having the ability to take on multiple roles. The Paralegal will assist in the organization of special districts, elections, annual compliance filings, preparing meeting packets for board meetings, tracking deadlines, and general maintenance of clients. The paralegal will be the point of contact for the clients, attorneys, and staff. The transactional paralegal will coordinate the organizational election to/and including preparing a comprehensive schedule of election procedure and statutory and constitutional deadlines; monitor the process for each special district conducting election; coordinate and ensure compliance with all deadlines and term limitation restrictions of elected officials. The paralegal will assist with the preparation, and review with attorney or district accountant, annual budgets and audits or audit exemption requests, and monitor compliance with all statutory and constitutional requirements, restrictions, and deadlines. 3 plus years of paralegal and billing time experience is preferred for this position. A Paralegal Certificate or bachelor’s degree in related field is highly preferred. Transactional law and document management experience is required to be successful in this position.
