We are on the lookout for a proficient Middleware Support Specialist. This is a remote role and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. The selected candidate will be involved in a variety of tasks ranging from system maintenance to application upgrades. They will also be expected to handle customer interactions and provide high-quality support services.
Responsibilities:
• Ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of processing customer credit applications.
• Managing the end-to-end monitoring of interfaces across all platforms, including EDI and B2B collaborations.
• Liaising between our EDI/B2B customers and the underlying services supporting the integration layers.
• Providing advanced problem-solving techniques and technical support, which may include on-call critical support.
• Overseeing the system and operational maintenance of our Integration system landscapes.
• Utilizing basic SQL querying and monitoring tools for EDI-B2B document flow.
• Participating in Dev to Support reviews with peers and supporting application upgrades.
• Collecting system metrics and ensuring the proper maintenance of knowledge base documentation.
• Supporting the change control process and engaging vendor support on technical and functional issues.
• Escalating issues appropriately and promptly.
· Available to provide on-call system support
· Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively interface with technical and nontechnical staff at all organizational levels
· Strong customer service approach and ability to collaborate and work well with others

· Ability to escalate issues properly and in a timely fashion
· Working knowledge of ServiceNow Incident and Change management, or equivalent.
· Working knowledge of the Cleo VLTrader MFT application, or equivalent.
· Working knowledge of the Informatica ETL application, or equivalent.
· Working knowledge of the Oracle SOA Suite application, or equivalent.
· Strong knowledge of SQL development, preferably Oracle SQL.
· Strong understanding of transport protocols including SSHFTP, SFTP, HTTP/S
· Basic understanding of XML.
· Basic knowledge of web service and API integrations.
· Strong understanding of encryption and associated security aspects of file exchange.
· Strong understanding of UNIX scripting language.
· Solid understanding of EDI collaboration and related supply chain and financial transaction sets.
