We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in the industry for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Farmers Branch, Texas. You'll be an integral part of our team, where your focus will be on processing invoices, managing vendor insurance and compliance requirements, and executing light journal entries.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of a high volume of invoices through electronic upload.
• Oversee vendor insurance and compliance to maintain adherence to company standards.
• Execute light journal entries and cash entries, with the provision of necessary training.
• Verify booking entries, wire instructions, and various invoice types to maintain financial accuracy.
• Operate within the company's accounting software Ravaani to streamline financial processes.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action to ensure account health.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records to facilitate smooth financial operations.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in the role of an Accounts Payable Specialist or a similar position.
• Proficiency in account coding and understanding of the various accounting functions.
• Mastery of accounting software systems for efficient and effective financial management.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Concur is a significant advantage.
• Knowledge and experience in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required.
• In-depth understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
• Proficiency in accrual accounting is necessary.
• Experience in auditing is a prerequisite for this role.
• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is required.
• Experience in the construction industry, particularly with custom homes, residential homes, and single-family homes, is a plus.
• Proficiency in construction accounting is highly desirable.
• Prior experience in the construction industry is a significant advantage.
