    We are currently seeking a highly organized and dedicated Medical Scheduler to join healthcare team in Downey, California.

    Responsibilities:

    • Handling incoming calls and inquiries from patients.
    • Responsible for scheduling patient appointments for examinations, consultations, procedures, and medical treatments.
    • Prioritizing emergencies and scheduling patients accordingly.
    • Ensuring proper scheduling protocols are followed to maximize patient comfort and clinic efficiency.
    • Maintaining confidentiality of patient information in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
    • Updating multifaceted hospital scheduling systems seamlessly and accurately.
    • Communicating with healthcare professionals and patients about appointment details.
    • Resolving scheduling conflicts as they arise.
    • Contributing to a team effort by accomplishing related results as required.


    Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical scheduling or in a similar role.
    • Proficient with healthcare scheduling systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to handle stressful situations and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
    • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
