One of our non-profit clients is looking to staff a Director of Accounting/Sr. Accountant with proven US GAAP knowledge. This Director of Accounting/Sr. Accountant will conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance, oversee the month end close process, monitor expense accruals, assist with fixed assets, maintain & resolve general ledger discrepancies, create solutions for process improvement, monitor cash flow, ensure compliance with local tax requirements, manage journal entry tracking, and assist with the financial planning process. If you hold a high level of financial modeling skills, have strong technical accounting abilities, and can safeguard company assets, this may be the role for you!

The ideal Director of Accounting/Sr. Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Finance.

Other requirements for the Director of Accounting/Sr. Accountant role include and are not limited to:

·      5+ years accounting experience, preferably non-profit industry experience

·      1+ years of supervisory experience

·      QuickBooks is a MUST

·      Strong communication skills
