We are offering a contract-to-permanent employment opportunity in a location for the position of a Systems Engineer. This role is within the technology industry, where you will be expected to handle various tasks related to system engineering and network administration.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the operation of Windows, Linux, and MAC operating systems
• Utilize virtualization tools such as VMware and Hyper-V for efficient system management
• Leverage cloud technologies, specifically Azure, AWS, or GCP for system operations
• Implement Veeam or similar technologies for efficient backup and recovery procedures
• Ensure network security through the management of protocols, firewalls, and adherence to best security practices
• Utilize scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation purposes
• Manage and transition from Fortinet to Cisco technologies as part of system operations
• Handle the processing and administration of customer credit applications
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action based on observations.

• Candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Systems Engineer role.
• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Cloud Technologies is essential.
• Must have experience with Active Directory.
• Strong skills in Automation are necessary.
• Familiarity with AWS Technologies is expected.
• Knowledge of Backup Technologies is required, particularly with Veeam and Veeam Backup.
• Experience with Fortinet Firewalls is a must.
• Proficiency in VMware, VMware Infrastructure, and VMware Technologies is necessary.
• Must have experience in Firewall administration and Firewall Configuration.
• Scripting skills are essential, including PowerShell Scripting, Python Scripting, and general Scripting Experience.
• Experience with Hyper-V is required.
• Must have a background in System Engineering.
• Network Administration skills are necessary.
• Experience with Azure Active Directory is a must.
