We are offering a contract for permanent employment for a Bookkeeper in the bustling city of Denver, Colorado. As a Bookkeeper, you will be deeply involved in the heart of our operations, handling a variety of tasks from managing accounts payable and receivable to data entry and account reconciliation. Your expertise in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel will come into play as you navigate through the financial landscape of our business.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the invoicing and billing processes
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Handle bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
• Maintain and update bookkeeping records
• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks
• Employ Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis
• Execute account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of transactions
• Engage in the month-end close process
• Administer payroll duties as required
• Perform data entry tasks in an efficient manner
• Proficient in account reconciliation, demonstrating a strong ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Experience with accounts payable (AP), including managing invoices, processing payments, and maintaining vendor relationships.
• Proficient in accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing, collecting payments, and managing customer accounts.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting bank reconciliations, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
• Proven bookkeeping skills, including maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Strong data entry skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including creating spreadsheets, using formulas, and analyzing data.
• Experience with month-end close procedures, including preparing financial statements and reconciling accounts.
• Demonstrated experience in payroll, including processing payroll, managing employee benefits, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, including recording transactions, managing financial data, and generating reports.
