    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Client Management: Directly interact with clients to gather pertinent tax information, resolve inquiries promptly, and facilitate a seamless tax preparation process.
    2. Quality Assurance: Review and ensure accuracy and completeness of tax returns prepared by junior staff.
    3. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain well-organized client files and records in line with Company policies and regulatory requirements.
    4. Team Collaboration: Work in conjunction with other team members to deliver superior client service and adhere to set deadlines.
    5. Tax Research: Carry out detailed research on applicable tax regulations, sales tax norms, etc.
    6. Accounting for multiple clients, including payroll handling (if possible)


    Requirements:

    • Proven work experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in client accounting or a similar role in a public accounting firm.
    • Educational Qualification: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
    • Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks (QBs)

    Ideally, this new team member would also be able to contribute to tax preparation during our busy tax season.
