We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry based in Dallas, Texas. The role is for a Financial Analyst II, who will play a crucial role in supporting administrators, department directors, and other team members in optimizing operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities
• Engage in external labor productivity benchmarking for hospital and clinic personnel to pinpoint areas for enhancement and cost-efficiency improvements.
• Partner with operational leaders to clarify the benchmarking process, interpret results, and offer insights that can be actioned to boost productivity.
• Take charge of the collection of pertinent data from diverse sources, ensuring its accuracy and completeness.
• Create and sustain detailed reports and dashboards to effectively communicate benchmarking results to key stakeholders.
• Scrutinize trends, patterns, and deviations in labor productivity data, highlighting areas for improvement and suggesting strategies for enhancement.
• Execute research and present findings for any changes in labor productivity.
• Continually investigate budget vs. actual expense variance through the review of standard reports and reports specifically developed for the entity.
• Deliver verbal or written results of department operating efficiencies study and discuss them with management and others as required.
• Generate Management Reports as required or requested.
• Act as an intermediary between the assigned area and Outcome Support Services and other finance areas.
• Commit to detail-oriented growth through participation in educational programs and organizations and activities to stay updated on current trends, practices, and developments.
• Conduct finance training for personnel as directed.
• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with CRM tools
• Ability to generate Crystal Reports
• Knowledge of Data Mining Techniques
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
• Expertise in Accrual Accounting
• Experience in Auditing
• Familiarity with Budget Processes
• Proficiency in Capital Management
