We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Analyst in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will provide crucial support in managing IT hardware, assisting users remotely, and ensuring the smooth operation of essential systems, all while working in a fast-paced environment.
POSITION: SENIOR DESKTOP SUPPORT
LOCATION: DALLAS, TX ONSITE
DURATION: 3 MONTH CONTRACT TO HIRE
SALARY: 70K-80K
Responsibilities:
- Accurately manage and maintain hardware for various operating systems and devices, including MacOS, IOS, Windows Server/PC, and Android.
- Provide remote support to users by resolving technical issues and troubleshooting.
- Assist in managing backups and tape management.
- Supervise large installations of systems such as Apple TV, Sonos, and DirecTV.
- Configure and set up Desktop Mitel Phones.
- Demonstrate proficiency in servicing Microsoft Office 2019+.
- Implement and enforce IT policies, ensuring organization-wide compliance.
- Maintain local printer systems.
- Support basic networking tasks involving layered switching.
- Manage third-party software packages, including ESRI ArcGIS and BMC Track-It.
- Oversee wide format printing options for the Geo Team.
- Handle modern conferencing tools and services.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or similar
- Strong knowledge of Computer Hardware
- Proficiency in Active Directory
- Experience with Apple Devices
- Knowledge of Backup Technologies
- Proficiency in Apple iOS and Apple iPhone
- Knowledge of Mitel
- Familiarity with Switches
