Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager Consultant to assist our client in documenting their current accounting processes. This is a remote, project-based role with an anticipated duration of 1-2 months, with the potential for extension to support the development and mapping of future processes. The ideal consultant will possess significant accounting expertise, advanced process visualization skills (with experience using tools such as Visio), and the ability to work independently while being resourceful in navigating complex projects.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the client to thoroughly document existing accounting processes, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Utilize tools like Microsoft Visio (or similar) to create detailed process flow diagrams and visualizations.
- Analyze current practices, identify potential gaps, and organize comprehensive process documentation.
- Serve as a reliable, independent consultant capable of working proactively with minimal supervision.
- Communicate effectively with client stakeholders, asking the right questions to uncover in-depth process details.
- Deliver high-quality outputs on time, meeting the client’s strategic and operational objectives.
- Optional (if extended): Assist with mapping out future-state accounting processes to drive operational efficiency and business alignment.
Accounting Expertise: A strong accounting background with hands-on experience in documenting financial processes (CPA or equivalent credentials preferred but not required).
Process Visualization Tools: Proficient in using Microsoft Visio or similar tools to develop clear and professional process maps.
Work Experience: Prior experience working on process documentation or financial transformation projects in a consulting capacity. Experience in the entertainment industry is a plus.
Remote Work Capability: Demonstrated ability to manage remote work engagements with excellent communication skills.
Independence & Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically, work independently, and resourcefully address challenges and complex requirements.
Work Schedule: Must have ability to work PST hours
