We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Admin in Coral Springs, Florida, United States. The job function is primarily focused on handling critical financial tasks and supporting accounting operations within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
• Overseeing customer accounts to certify invoicing accuracy and punctuality.
• Undertaking proactive collections to sustain robust cash flow.
• Rectifying AR accounts and settling payment differences with clients.
• Composing monthly AR aging reports and briefing management.
• Administering vendor invoices and confirming payment timeliness.
• Pairing invoices with purchase orders and seeking approvals when required.
• Rectifying vendor statements and resolving discrepancies.
• Computing and filing California sales tax punctually and precisely.
• Keeping abreast of sales tax laws and regulations affecting the hospitality industry.
• Aiding with monthly closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Keeping financial records organized and accurate.
• Supporting the accounting team with spontaneous projects and audits.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an accounting administrative role or related field.
• Proficient in account reconciliation with a keen attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) management.
• Proven ability in managing billing procedures and operations.
• Exceptional data entry skills, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Hands-on experience with invoice processing, demonstrating a commitment to timeliness and accuracy.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manage, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.
• Experience in credit card reconciliation, ensuring all transactions align with financial records.
• Proven skills in collections, with a focus on maintaining positive customer relationships while ensuring payment of outstanding balances.
