We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Front Desk Coordinator in Columbus, Ohio. This role is crucial in the smooth running of our operations. As a Front Desk Coordinator, you will be tasked with managing front desk activities, coordinating facility services, handling phone calls, and organizing space. You will also be responsible for the planning and execution of meetings and events.
Responsibilities
• Oversee the operations of the front desk to ensure efficient service delivery
• Coordinate and manage services within the facility for optimal use
• Handle incoming calls, providing prompt and courteous service to callers
• Ensure the organization of workspace for efficient operations and productivity
• Take the lead in the planning and coordination of meetings and events, ensuring all logistics are taken care of.
• Proven experience in a similar role such as Front Desk Coordinator or Receptionist.
• Proficiency in performing receptionist duties including handling incoming calls, managing correspondence, and greeting visitors.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and staff.
• Proficiency in using office equipment such as fax machines, scanners, and printers.
• Familiarity with office management systems and procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• High school diploma or equivalent education level.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high stress situations.
• Exceptional customer service skills and detail oriented appearance.
• Ability to problem-solve and handle office-related issues.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
