We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Consumer Loan Servicing Specialist: II (Intermediate) in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be part of a team that oversees the release of collateral on paid loans and monitors Hazard Insurance on collateral. Your key focus will be supporting the collateral release process for our commercial portfolio.

Responsibilities
• Analyze and align collateral documentation with the credit approval system for partial releases.
• Handle maintenance in our AFSVision system, including updating collateral when they are released or when we are continuing a UCC.
• Liaise with business segments on missing or insufficient documentation and the status of loans.
• Facilitate the release of lien position through filing or recording of documents such as UCC mortgage titles.
• Monitor report results to identify and rectify any data discrepancies.
• Manage the workflow of loan documentation to ensure Service Level Agreements are met.
• Conduct quality review of team's work.
• Handle mailing of original documentations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in documentation and filing

• Knowledge of 'About Time' software
• Ability to perform ad hoc financial tasks
• Capable of identifying and resolving discrepancies
• Familiarity with monitoring tools
• Consistent and reliable attendance
• Experience with loan administration and loan origination
• Ability to handle missing invoices
• Experience in achieving targets
• Knowledge of mortgage banking and commercial lending
• Familiarity with collateral management
• Understanding of the release process

• Willingness to work overtime when required
• Understanding of customer segmentation in the lending industry
