We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity in the high tech engineering industry, based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We are seeking a Sr. Accountant who is detail-oriented and highly organized to join our team. Your primary tasks will involve maintaining accurate financial records, processing account reconciliations, and resolving account related inquiries.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process and maintain customer credit applications
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
• Regularly perform bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the General Ledger
• Prepare and post Journal Entries as required
• Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting
• Ensure the Month End Close process is completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Utilize NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.
• Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably within the Hi Tech Engineering industry.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is crucial for this role.
• Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required.
• The suitable candidate should have experience in Bank Reconciliations.
• Familiarity with General Ledger is essential.
• The candidate must be able to handle Journal Entries efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary for this role.
• The candidate should have experience in Month End Close procedures.
• Experience in using NetSuite is a significant advantage for this role.
• Knowledge of Oracle is required.
• Familiarity with SAP is essential for the candidate.
