    Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users via phone, email, and in-person
    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices
    • Install, configure, and upgrade software applications and operating systems
    • Set up and configure new desktops and laptops for end-users
    • Perform hardware and software maintenance, including regular updates and patches
    • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies
    • Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical problems
    • Maintain accurate records of technical issues and their resolutions in the help desk ticketing system
    • Assist in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT projects
    • Provide basic training to end-users on the use of software applications and IT systems


    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
    • Proven experience in desktop support or a similar technical role
    • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems
    • Familiarity with hardware components, peripheral devices, and network technologies
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting software applications and configuring user settings
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical end-users
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or similar certifications are a plus
