We are seeking a candidate to join our team in the non-profit industry, located in Cleveland, Ohio. This role involves working directly with program applicants and their families to determine funding eligibility, maintaining precise documentation, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the completion of application paperwork and the collection of required documentation to verify eligibility during daily intake appointments with applicant/families
• Ensure supportive and accurate communication related to eligibility status is provided to applicant/families
• Create and maintain accurate program files, and assist with correcting and updating files based on second and/or third level review
• Assist applicant/families with all aspects of program enrollment, including providing information about work permit process, health exams, and employment forms as needed
• Enter accurate and complete information into database management systems
• Assist in the set-up and tear-down of daily Intake Appointments throughout the community
• Provide timely reports to program management and partners as directed and required
• Travel to various community locations where Intake Appointments are hosted
• Undertake any other duties as assigned and required in line with program requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Office Tools
• Demonstrated experience in the Non-Profit sector
• Strong background in Human Services
• Experience as a Sunday School Teacher or similar roles
• Previous experience in Tutoring, preferably within a Non-Profit setting
• Experience working in Preschool or Public Schools
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Knowledge of eligibility and intake procedures within a Non-Profit context
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to the mission and values of the Non-Profit sector.
