    We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer for one of our clients. This role resides in the Healthcare/NHS industry and involves designing test scenarios and conducting manual testing for software platform releases.


    Responsibilities:

    • Actively participate in development planning meetings to understand and contribute to the software development life cycle.

    • Prepare and execute test scenarios for both front end and back-end testing, ensuring the smooth operation of web-based applications.

    • Document test results meticulously, ensuring accurate records are maintained.

    • Identify and report deficiencies in the software, tracking code defects to closure using tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio, Azure Devops, Test Manager, or similar suites.

    • Apply critical thinking and self-motivation to continuously improve testing methodologies and techniques.

    • Ensure adherence to Agile Scrum principles and practices in all testing activities.

    • Conduct AB Testing to optimize software performance and user experience.

    • Engage in manual testing activities, drawing from past experience and current best practices.

    • Contribute to the creation and refinement of Business Requirement Documents, ensuring they accurately reflect the software's functionality and performance expectations.

    • Use backend development skills to understand and test the underlying architecture of the software.

    • Utilize bug tracking tools and methods to manage and resolve software issues effectively.

    • Robust knowledge and experience in Backend Development
    • Proficiency in Bug Tracking to effectively identify and rectify software issues
    • Demonstrated experience in AB Testing to ensure optimal system performance
    • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and ability to work in fast-paced, iterative environments
    • Proven skills in Automation Test to increase efficiency and reduce errors in testing processes
    • Capability to understand and interpret Business Requirement Documents to ensure software meets business needs
    • Experience in Manual Testing to validate that software products work as intended in real-world scenarios
