    Title: IAM and Email Security Engineer

    Location: Hybrid Remote/On-site work in Schaumburg

    We are recruiting a proactive and highly skilled IAM and Email Security Engineer to join our client's growing security team reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)! This pivotal role will manage the organization's entire Identity and Access Management (IAM) and email messaging solutions, both on-premises and in the cloud, contributing to the robustness of our global security strategy.

    The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment with a passion for continuous improvement and professional development. As a key player in a team of seven specialized engineers, you will also collaborate with other departments, requiring excellent communication skills to drive alignment and clarity. In addition to daily responsibilities, you will lead and participate in various security projects requiring engineering expertise and incident response capabilities.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and manage the organization's IAM solutions, including Azure AD/Entra ID and on-premises Active Directory.
    • Maintain and enhance email messaging systems such as O365 and Exchange, ensuring optimal functionality and security.
    • Lead and support security engineering and incident response efforts, acting as the primary point of contact for related initiatives.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams, maintaining clear and effective communication.
    • Identify opportunities for improvement in security processes and tools, proactively implementing enhancements.
    • Stay current with industry trends, engaging in professional development through certifications, training, and other educational opportunities.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Proven expertise in Azure AD/Entra ID and on-premises Active Directory.
    • Strong experience with enterprise email platforms, including O365 and Exchange.
    • A self-motivated, solution-driven team player who can work independently when necessary.
    • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across teams and stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with cloud and on-premises security ecosystems.
    • A strong passion for continued education, including pursuing certifications and advanced degrees in relevant fields.

    Preferred Certifications (Not Required):

    • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
    • CompTIA Security+
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
